Main Purpose of Job

The successful candidate will have the ability to maintain high levels of service on an on-going basis. Furthermore, the ability to provide excellent customer services.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years’ service advisor experience
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Clear criminal record
  • Computer Literate

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contact service customers to make bookings.
  • To promote the sales of labour and parts.
  • Contact the customer for authorisation for any additional repairs beyond the agreed estimate and provide the customer the new estimate and updated delivery time.
  • Record the results of the contact on the job card and any additional instructions authorised or declined by the customer.
  • To obtain the customer’s approval and signature after ensuring the customer understands the dealership’s payment policy.
  • Ensure the security of all vehicles, i.e vehicles locked in workshop and keys locked in the key safe.
  • Ensure to obtain approval from service plan and warranty providers before technician starts work on vehicle.
  • Ensure the job cards are completed accurately and fully.
  • Ensure all job cards are costed and invoiced timeously and all required documents are signed by the client.
  • Work In Progress to be monitored daily.
  • Follow up on any outstanding payments.
