Our Story
Our journey began in 1989 when our founders, fresh out of university and with no experience, started trading used cars in the Vaal Triangle. They were forced to learn the ropes of the business by default. In 1991, the company expanded its operations to Johannesburg and the surrounding areas. The lack of initial experience and cashflow compelled the team to work extremely hard, undertaking almost every task themselves. However, this critical learning phase allowed the company to better understand the trade of selling, re-selling, and servicing cars while running a successful business.

We emphasize that relationships in business are built on service levels, and they are a priority in our service values. Our company believes that people buy cars from people they know, and trust is essential in the car buying process. This is especially true in the countryside, where a sense of community is stronger. We take pride in the fact that each branch of our company is run as if it belongs to the Dealer Principal, with additional ownership by the staff at each branch. This dedication to service and community has helped our dealerships in rural areas bounce back from the effects of the lockdown.
Managing dealerships in five provinces is challenging, but our team visits each branch twice a month and relies on a strong management team to handle day-to-day operations. As for the current record low interest rates, our company advises customers to be cautious when making decisions and to budget for higher rates in the future.
