Main Purpose of Job
The successful candidate will have to ensure the profitability of the After Sales Departments. The successful candidate will furthermore be responsible to ensure manufacturer and dealership targets are met. Lastly the candidate would need to have strict control over inventory and quality of tradesmanship and service.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required
- Grade 12 certificate
- Minimum of 3 years’ managerial experience
- Minimum of 3 years' parts and workshop management experience
- Trade Certificate
- Strong Knowledge in systems, engines and diagnostic tools
- Strong leadership skills
- Self-driven and ability to drive targets.
- Analytical & problem-solving skills
- Strong Marketing Skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Clear criminal record
- Computer Literate
- Valid driver’s license
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure quality of service are met as well as profitability.
- Manage workshop flow.
- Handle all after sales related issues.
- Liaise with OEM
- Monitor stock levels daily to ensure relevant manufacturer stock levels are maintained.
- Manage cash outstanding on a daily basis.
- Manage and actively clear out aged stock.
- Conduct stock takes on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
- Ensure targets and profitability are met.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Manage team for high performance culture.
- To visit distributors, fleet owners, trade outlets and shops to sell parts and accessories and services
- To ensure company discount structure is properly applied.
- To care for company property and ensure economic use e.g. car/delivery van.
